Bill Heiser is an Information Technology professional with a focus on managing small teams and managing projects.  Technical specialties include IT business continuity & disaster recovery planning and managing IT instrastructure. 

Most recently, Bill led the IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiative for a leading institution of higher education.  The goal of this initiative was to develop an initial disaster recovery capability, and establish an on-going IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Program.  Bill's role was to work with key stakeholders and individual contributors to obtain buy-in and support, and to perform the actual planning activities.  The work Bill did established an initial draft recovery process for essential business applications and IT infrastructure, and laid the foundation for further development.

Prior to this role, Bill was the project manager for an initiative which successfully developed and implemented a new ITIL-based Change Management process for the same IT organization.

Previously, his over 20 years experience in the IT field included several positions leading technical teams in corporate environments, and a background in systems administration, networking, and computer operations. Bill holds a BS in Computer Science and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
